The YouTube video is not displayed in the message so that it can be viewed

Oh you can do that too (I forgot as I don't use it much). Just select the camera icon beneath the text box, and then the "from video url" option. After that, just paste in the link. If memory serves, it won't work for all sites, but it does support YouTube for definite.

It's possible this doesn't work with videos that are private but accessible via a link.
