Unable to reply to posts in a thread

Specifically this thread in the Sims 3 forum:

What happened in your sims 3 game today? | EA Forums - 1656263

I have tried twice now to write a reply to a post, only to have it not show up, and no notification or message explaining why it won't show up. What's going on?

Edit: Well, my second attempt did make it through, but not the first one.. but yeah, it's not a good posting experience to write a reply and it just goes away into the nothingness.. I suppose I will always have to copy and paste my posts into a seperate document on my computer in the future so as to not lose what I wrote.... huh...

    Hi Sprottenham​, 

    I've encountered something similar before myself. When this happens for me, I find clearing my browser cache helps everything sync up again and run smoothly. Could you give that a go and then test out that thread again? 

    Hoping this does the trick for you too. 😄

    I just spotted the edit note you added. Thanks for letting us know how you got on. I'm sorry your original post message was lost on the first attempt. I've had that happen once or twice too, and it's not great, especially when quite a bit of time and effort has been put into crafting it. I am so glad to hear you were able to post in the thread on the second attempt, though. 

    Took a peek at your post in that thread and I REALLY did not expect the teenage babysitter shenanigans. 🤣 She sounds like a menace. 😂
