Why Am I Not Being Notified About Things On The EA Forums?

Since last night I'm having the issue of my notifications not displaying. 

I log in and see the red dot on my notifications bell, but when I click it, it either shows a blank page or states that I have no notifications. 

I tried refreshing it multiple times, but still nothing shows. 

There's definitely something broken. 

Still an ongoing problem as of December 2025. All I want is to be notified about blog posts in the "Game Info Hub" sections each game that I play and follow. For instance, I get ZERO emails about new posts in the Skate Game Info Hub.

The forum notifications are broken and don't work. Sometimes I receive notifications when someone replies to a post I'm subscribed to, and sometimes I don't receive a notification.

I'm referring to the notification bell at the top of the forum page. Sometimes I get notifications there, sometimes I don't.

For example, I'm subscribed to the forum post in the link below, but I did not receive a notification when the poster replied to me.

This makes it extremely difficult to provide customer support because we're not receiving notifications when people reply to posts asking for help.

There's other features of the forum that are broken. Such as 'show more' and 'unread posts' features.

I do like the look, layout, and custom avatars. A forum that doesn't keep track of conversations is fundamentally broken though.

I've resorted to manually adding this signature to the bottom of all my posts. Otherwise I'll have no idea who replies to me in posts I'm subscribed to.

If I don't reply to your post then personal message me. Sometimes the forum fails to notify me when someone replies.

I'm notified via Email about newly created topics AND replies to those topics (even though I'm not even following those topics), but I'm NOT being notified about newly created blog posts in the specific "Game Info Hub" sections for each individual game (even if I am following them), nor am I notified for any blog posts containing the "Announcement" and "Patch Notes" tags.

Very annoying if I'm being honest. I just want to follow "Game Info Hub" sections for my favorite games and be notified about newly created blog posts.

For awhile the problem seemed to be fixed, and now it's happening again. No Daily Digest in the mail...

I mean, I definitely have changed my email address in the past, however not my current (new) email address nor my old email address receives any EA Forums emails.

Other people not getting emails might have changed their email address in the past and emails are probably being sent to their old email address.

I've changed it to Daily Digest and monitored it over the course of a few days, and unfortunately I'm still not getting notified about new blog posts.

I have a similar problem, the daily digest has suddenly stopped working. The last one I received was from May 1st, after that nothing.

Summon​ can you try setting "New Content is posted" for all boards from "never" to "Daily Digest"?
While this will also get you all the regular threads being posted, it's worth testing if those digest emails will then correctly include any new blog posts added.
At least with the digest it should be hopefully be sorted by area, letting you skip straight to the blogs.

Bugs aside, settings are definitely not as granular yet as we'd like.
