Slow Download Speeds on EA app

Hello Everyone,
It’s honestly frustrating that after all these years, the download problem with EA still persists. I’m living in Zürich, Switzerland, with a Glasfaser (fiber optic) connection, and every other provider—like Steam—gives me speeds of at least 820 MB/s. Yet when I try to download Star Wars Jedi: Survivor via EA, I’m stuck at 5–10 MB/s. That’s completely unacceptable in 2025.

Here’s everything I’ve tried so far: Tried different DNS servers (Google, Cloudflare, Swisscom, etc.) – no change. 
Switched between wired and wireless connections – same result.
Tested different times of day – slow speeds persist.
Used a VPN (even set to other countries) – sometimes slightly better, but inconsistent.
Cleared EA app cache and reinstalled the app – didn’t help.
Disabled antivirus/firewall temporarily – no difference.
Checked system resource usage – CPU, RAM, and disk all normal.
Changed EA app installation folder and drive – no improvement.
Tried with a different EA account and another Windows user profile – same speeds.
Monitored traffic with network tools – shows throttling or low server throughput from EA’s end.

Has anyone else experienced this or have more advice?
I’d appreciate any help or suggestions!
