So in short my EA account & PlayStation account are linked yet every time I load up Need for Speed Payback an play online after several years of being in the military and I wanted to show my Wife one of my favorite games. Yet for some reason EA Support has tried absolutely everything to help me play again an yet still nothing works at all. Does anyone have anything that might be able to help. An I mean some real technical work. We've tried deleting user profile, Internet connection, DNS and MTU changes and even rebuilding the data base and clear cache data ECT. I have been going at this for over 2 weeks now with zero resolve. Let's start with some basics. Why do you not have a customer service phone number? It is unbelievable these days that companies have chosen to get rid of the customer service phone number option. It is a clear indication that you do not want to help your customers. EA is a large company and makes millions of dollars. They can easily afford to have a customer service support line. On April 11th, 2025, I was banned for absolutely no reason. I have not had/played an EA game since It Takes Two came out which was well over a year ago. At that time, I played that game with my sibling and that was it. The ban came as a complete shock to me as I just mentioned, I had not played an EA game for a long time. So, as one would do, I contacted EA and disputed the ban. The response was silly and showed ZERO lack of evidence or support. They did not show ANY information on why the ban was put in place and any specifics to indicate what could be done about it. So, I thought I would simply reply to that email and hope that I would get a more specific answer. Yet now the second email showed the exact same thing. It was clearly a copy and paste job. They say "after careful research" we found this to be accurate with ZERO specifics. That is all they say. This really is quite unbelievable from a company this large. You would think they would have in place a customer service department that gave a crap about you. So, I tried again, and again. Same answer. I had no choice but to contact the BBB. Well, again same answer, yet again. "Contact customer service via their website". It's truly unfortunate this company treats their customers like this. So, the only obvious explanation for this is my account must have been hacked and used to violate these terms. There is a section on their customer service website that says "have you been hacked" contact us. So, I did this. Well, what do you know, SAME REPLY. I think they do not have a department, and it is run by AI. I thought, I would just make a new account and then not have to deal with this anymore. Nope, they do not let you unlink your PSN/Steam accounts so now I cannot even play OTHER EA games forever unless I get an entirely new PSN account and Steam account. I purchased Spit Fiction for $70 and now I cannot play it because it is LINKED to my PSN account on the banned account. So wasted $70 for nothing. Just overall this experience has been very time consuming and rather obnoxious. I have spent most of my morning dealing with this and now spending another 15 minutes to write this. I am extremely frustrated with the current state of online play in FC 26 on PlayStation. Far too often, when I am winning a match, my opponent quits during the game, sometimes even during extra time, and I end up receiving no points or progress for the match. I have spent the time playing the entire game, earned my lead fairly, and then lose out on rewards because the other player decides to quit when they realise they are going to lose. This creates a terrible experience for honest players. It allows people to avoid defeats while wasting the time of players who actually complete their matches. What makes this even more frustrating is that I am paying for online features and services, yet this issue continues to exist. If a player quits while losing, the remaining player should automatically be awarded the win along with all points, rewards and progression. I would like EA to explain why players who quit while losing can prevent their opponents from receiving points, what measures are being taken to stop this behaviour, and whether EA intends to automatically award wins and points when an opponent quits. This issue has been affecting the online experience for far too long and seriously undermines the competitive integrity of FC 26. Someone has hacked into my account from a unfamiliar location and changed all my personal information pertaining to my ea account. I would like to get back in I have tried contacting customer support and they have not helped me one bit!!! EAs customer service is terrible and there security is pooh! All I'm trying to do is change my EA ID from "CT-Sapper" to "[KDM] Sapper". I would be more understanding if this error message was actually explaining the issue to me but come on EA seriously? Why is it so difficult to slightly change my EA ID? I know for a fact that it's been more than 30 days since the last time I've changed my EA ID and I've tried every variation I can think of; adding dashes, spaces, underscores, lowercase, uppercase, adding numbers, removing the brackets, using alternate characters for letters etc. and absolutely nothing works. And when I contact EA Support for help (and finally get through to an actual person) even THEY aren't able change my EA ID??? All of the other threads on this issue are also absolutely useless.
