EA blocks the European publishing rights to Ridge Racer 6 & Dead to Rights?
So I finally found out why Ridge Racer 6 and Dead to Rights are only available in the USA xbox digital store and not in any of the European countries xbox digital stores. They are made by Bandai Namco and normally published by them but EA became the publisher for Europe (or co-publisher), according to an old eurogamer news article. So please EA, re-publish these games on the European xbox digital storefronts. I am writing here as there doesn't seem to be any way to contact anyone about this in any other way. Just posted it on X under one of EA's posts but from experience those that run X accounts for companies never see posts like this. Pick up that phone, call Bandai Namco, look over that old contract, and either publish, co-publish or let them re-publish it in Europe. Consoles are going all digital so those few used discs in the wild won't help anyone. Also more people will be able to enjoy. Source: https://www.eurogamer.net/news300905ridge6 Ridge Racer 6 USA store: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/ridge-racer-6/9NV6NNF132K6/0010 But not searchable in Swedish xbox store but can be found as "not available separately" by switching en-US to sv-se: https://www.xbox.com/sv-se/games/store/ridge-racer-6/9NV6NNF132K6/0010 Same goes with Dead to Rights: https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/dead-to-rights/bt3qt07v2tgc and https://www.xbox.com/sv-se/games/store/dead-to-rights/bt3qt07v2tgc Are there more of these games? Did EA have anything to do with Silent Hill: Homecoming on xbox store as it is also not available in Europe on xbox store, but is in the USA.30Views0likes1CommentEA playtesting - Platforms

Ukrainian language Dear EA team, I am a fan of your games and a user of your services! I am contacting you again with the same question. I live in Ukraine, I understand and communicate equally in Ukrainian and Russian. Since you have removed Russian subtitles. Do you plan to add Ukrainian subtitles to your games or do you plan to return Russian subtitles to your games? I ask you to consider adding Ukrainian subtitles to your games, because there are many players from Ukraine who would like to play games without a phone and a dictionary, understanding what is happening in the game. Thank you for your understanding! I play on ps5.68Views0likes1CommentEA, Stop Ignoring Us: Xbox Accounts Stuck on Unrecoverable EA Profiles
This is a collective appeal on behalf of the many users who have, over the years, experienced the same recurring issue – and still have no solution. The problem is simple but severe: Players lose access to their EA account, and as a result, they are unable to unlink it from their Xbox profile. Without EA's help, they are permanently locked out of using EA services on Xbox. And EA Support has failed to provide effective assistance. We are not talking about isolated incidents. This is a widespread and years-old problem, affecting hundreds (if not thousands) of players. It continues to appear regularly in EA Forums, Reddit, Microsoft support threads, and gaming communities. It’s time to acknowledge that this is not a user mistake – this is a systemic failure in account management and support policy. The Problem Xbox profiles often become automatically linked to old EA accounts – sometimes accounts that are no longer accessible, deleted, or tied to an email that no longer exists. Players cannot unlink the Xbox profile from the EA account unless they verify the original EA account. If the user has no access to the email or recovery methods (due to age, lost credentials, or deactivated accounts), EA support refuses to help. Microsoft confirms they cannot unlink EA accounts on their end. EA's stance is rigid: “No verification, no unlinking.” Even if the account is clearly inactive or the user is verified through Xbox/Origin credentials. Support tickets are often closed without action. Chats end with no resolution. Users are passed between departments, but nothing changes. Recent Example (May 2025) Just yesterday, I posted the following here on EA’s forums, and it summarizes the problem: “I can't unlink my Xbox account from an old EA account that I don't have access to anymore. EA Support told me there’s nothing they can do. I just want to play EA games again, but I’m locked out of all online services because my Xbox is linked to a ghost account.” Full Post Here This is not a one-off. It is one of many. What Players Are Asking For We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for a realistic, user-focused solution to a well-known issue. Specifically: A process for unlinking Xbox accounts when the original EA account cannot be recovered. This could involve verifying identity via Xbox Live data, Xbox account ownership, or linking proof. Better support escalation paths. Not just canned responses and auto-closed tickets. Real human review for unresolved account access cases. Transparency on what can and cannot be done. Many users are told “there’s nothing we can do” – while others manage to get unlinking done after dozens of failed attempts. The policy is inconsistent. The Bigger Picture Many affected users have: Lost access to EA Play/Game Pass benefits despite paying for them. Abandoned EA games completely because the account issues make playing impossible. Created entirely new Xbox accounts, losing years of progress and purchases. Spent hours or days dealing with EA support without a single result. We are asking EA to take responsibility and implement system-level fixes. This is a trust issue. Players who lose access to their EA account should not be cut off from Xbox games they legally own or subscribe to. Supporting Evidence: Community Reports Date Source & Link Summary May 16, 2025 EA Forum User unable to unlink Xbox from old EA account; EA Support states "nothing we can do". April 2025 Microsoft Community Xbox Gamertag linked to an old/unknown EA account; EA will not unlink it, stating the account is deleted. April 2022 Microsoft Community EA refuses to unlink Xbox from deleted EA account; GDPR request ignored. February 2021 Reddit - r/Xbox EA demands code sent to inactive email; user locked out despite valid Xbox account. Early 2021 Microsoft Community User unable to unlink EA account; Microsoft confirms EA is sole authority. November 2018 Overclockers UK Forum Player locked to 10-year-old EA account; EA support unhelpful after multiple attempts. And many more... Final Call EA, this is a growing trust and accessibility issue. Gamers should not be permanently blocked from their Xbox content because of a policy that assumes email access is forever. Technology evolves. People change accounts. But support systems must evolve with that. We urge you to: Recognize this as a longstanding issue. Commit to a workable solution for affected users. Respond to the community with clarity and action. This isn’t just about one player. This is about hundreds of us, waiting for a fair resolution. EA - in the name of all gamers - please fix this! I have been going at this for over 2 weeks now with zero resolve. Let's start with some basics. Why do you not have a customer service phone number? It is unbelievable these days that companies have chosen to get rid of the customer service phone number option. It is a clear indication that you do not want to help your customers. EA is a large company and makes millions of dollars. They can easily afford to have a customer service support line. On April 11th, 2025, I was banned for absolutely no reason. I have not had/played an EA game since It Takes Two came out which was well over a year ago. At that time, I played that game with my sibling and that was it. The ban came as a complete shock to me as I just mentioned, I had not played an EA game for a long time. So, as one would do, I contacted EA and disputed the ban. The response was silly and showed ZERO lack of evidence or support. They did not show ANY information on why the ban was put in place and any specifics to indicate what could be done about it. So, I thought I would simply reply to that email and hope that I would get a more specific answer. Yet now the second email showed the exact same thing. It was clearly a copy and paste job. They say "after careful research" we found this to be accurate with ZERO specifics. That is all they say. This really is quite unbelievable from a company this large. You would think they would have in place a customer service department that gave a crap about you. So, I tried again, and again. Same answer. I had no choice but to contact the BBB. Well, again same answer, yet again. "Contact customer service via their website". It's truly unfortunate this company treats their customers like this. So, the only obvious explanation for this is my account must have been hacked and used to violate these terms. There is a section on their customer service website that says "have you been hacked" contact us. So, I did this. Well, what do you know, SAME REPLY. I think they do not have a department, and it is run by AI. I thought, I would just make a new account and then not have to deal with this anymore. Nope, they do not let you unlink your PSN/Steam accounts so now I cannot even play OTHER EA games forever unless I get an entirely new PSN account and Steam account. I purchased Spit Fiction for $70 and now I cannot play it because it is LINKED to my PSN account on the banned account. So wasted $70 for nothing. Just overall this experience has been very time consuming and rather obnoxious. I have spent most of my morning dealing with this and now spending another 15 minutes to write this. EA, if you are listening, you really should re-examine your customer service department. I can assure you, your company will not last if you continue treating your customers like this.Solved24Views0likes1CommentNo access to old Email address.
Good day, I 'm on the verge of loosing all hope with EA. I lost access to my previous account when my old IP provider (Tiscali.co.uk) closed. And while it remained live for a while, it was eventually deleted, meaning my old 'Tiscali' email address is now no longer valid or accessible in any way, and there is NO previous IP Provider whom i could contact for assistance (as your repetitive "Advice" repeats over and over again 😡) Honestly, who even thought that would be an acceptable response? 😶 I did manage to gain access to the account a while back, and at that time I managed to link it to my Xbox "Gamepass" account which is tied to my 'NEW' Gmail Address (big mistake) I then tried to change the now obsolete 'Tiscali' email address to my current 'Gmail' one, every time I have tried to do this, I have been unsuccessful as your system just tells me to provide a code which has been sent to my old email address to which I no longer have access, these days I only seam to be allowed to access the forum with my old account.☹️ When i try to select the option for "No longer have access to email address" your system just tells me to contact my old email provider....you know, the ones who no longer exist!!!... do you see my issue?... I'm going round in circles, and have done for a few years now with no resolution. At least previously i was able to at least log into my account by selecting my 'Xbox account' at login.... now you have introduced your ridiculously excessive 2-point authentication, it just tells me that a code has been sent to the old email address which no longer exists.....I think I've accepted that my old EA library has gone now, and so I created a new account but need help from a REAL person, to either regain access to my old account, delete my old account (and just use my new account going forward) or to delete my "Gamepass" link from the old account so I can re-link it to this account.... until then I am unable to play EA games from Gamepass or my library as both are inaccessible. help! My son's account just got banned for no reason. The account was just set up and within a day or 2 it was banned. The account was never linked to anything and never used it besides setting it up. It was stated for violating the terms and conditions but won't state the actual reason. This is absolutely crap to be doing this to your customers. This why EA has widely become known as one of the worst companies to exist and your customer service is hot garbage. Can someone please explain to me why it was banned, as in what the exact specific reason or thing it supposedly violated to be banned, not an generic violated terms and conditions which means absolutely nothing.Solved42Views1like2CommentsPs5 won't link to my ea accoubt
