EA block me for chat with advisor
after i chat with advisor and he said i need to open a new case to solve my problem, i got "This issue isn't supported by advisors" for every topic i select if advisor told me to open new case, why block me to chat again? and no email or other notifications to let me know what happened here is the advsior told me: Please create a new case and contact us back again as I have already inform you about the information on your another EA account on this case. To save you from any further hassle, I will be adding a descriptive note to your case. Please contact us back & provide case: 217761756, to the next advisor which will save you from the hassle of explaining this issue again. so if support team block me to chat then why say this?565Views1like5CommentsI don't have access to my old email. The account is over 10 years old.
Recently, EA started requiring codes from your registration email. This didn't happen before. I'd already restored my account once, but I thought the EA app would remember me and not ask for a code again. But when I returned from a business trip, it asked for a code again. I've already contacted the support chat, and they're asking me various questions that I don't remember anymore; I registered over 10 years ago. I'm offering them the files EA stores on my PC so they can verify that it's my account. I have a game called Buttfield on Steam that I played. I give them screenshots and photos, asking them to take their files, but they're unwilling. They're waiting for me to remember all the information they're looking for. Where else can I go? I have a lot of EA files on my PC from over 10 years ago, including their logs, and old Steam games with game keys. I'm contacting them again now, but the chat channel is inactive, so I can't use it anymore. My PC contains a lot of files, videos, and photos from various EA games on my account, but they're not interested. It's strange. They're not interested in the EA game linked to Steam, with keys. I played it, and there's a Steam post about it. My purchase was made through Steam. My Steam account is linked because I played it through Steam. Below are a lot of photos from games with my username and my account. A photo of a game purchase on Steam, which is linked to my account, which I want to restore. Chat support says this isn't enough ))) You're kidding me.317Views2likes15CommentsUnable to contact a EA advisor

It's been almost 3 months of trying to get some help so I can play the game I spent $70 on, Battlefield 6. Filed multiple appeals with no response. Can someone help me with how to make a new EA account for my Xbox so I can play this freakin game I spent money on. Also blows my mind that I was able to purchase this game on Xbox marketplace through the account that is supposedly banned.25Views1like1CommentCompletely locked out by 2FA requirement
This week, I decided to install The Sims 4 after a gap of few years, and bought a few add-ons that looked good while I was installing the game. That proved to be a mistake, because the other account - this is a new one - was set up with an email account that ceased to exist in 2022. "But surely," you might say, "you could still log in to that account, since you were able to buy things for it?" And indeed you would be right - but every feature of that account (including the ability to add a backup email, or specify a telephone contact, or verify my age, and now even logging in) has been locked away behind two-factor authentication that points to that old, defunct email address. Those 2FA messages are all vanishing into the void, with no domain to receive them. "Ah, then certainly EA's fine helpdesk staff can help you," I can hear you cry - and, indeed, all four of the people I've contacted so far have been good, helpful people. Alas, however, they are only allowed to follow a standardised set of questions which ask things such as "what IP address do you normally play from" - not the most useful of questions after moving house and having to change ISP in the last four years. Whatever answers I give, I'm told that at some point I have failed the test and that no further help can be given in that case. Franz Kafka would smile at all this, I'm sure. This can't be good for Electronic Arts itself, I fear: I doubt that I can be the only person who has bought goods and then found themselves unable to use them, with the ability even to request a refund locked away behind - you guessed it - a 2FA requirement! So, dear reader, if you know of any way in which I can unlock my old account and regain access to my things, I would be quite glad to spend a few evenings enjoying The Sims again. One lives in hope.30Views0likes0CommentsTrouble contacting a EA advisor
Does anyone know why i cant click on "Contact a Advisor" in the EA help menu? My Xbox account has unlinked from my EA and linked to my mobile account and its making me wait 6 months, which i find unnecisary since i never recieved any notice of this account change. Anyhow i didnt think much of it until i tried to play BattleFront2. but all of my Progress is gone and i am completely out of Compitition, I suspect its because of the Account change. i tried to contact an advisor with the account i want to be linked with the xbox account. the advisor suggested i go to my other one and find help. i didnt that but i am unable to click "Contact a Advisor". I would love any help as i am experiencing great frustration.32Views0likes1CommentStolen Credit Card #
So I made a purchase on EA's site. I used a credit card that I haven't use in over 6 months ($0 balance ). When i get my statement there are more than $400 in Door Dash & Uber Eats charges all in CA. I live in OH. So I guess the$4.99 game purchase was not a good deal!60Views0likes3CommentsUpdated profanity filter
So lovely that now for a SECOND time my name has been blocked by the profanity filter. My username used to be SwagginDragon, until one day I noticed I could not chat in-game (BFV). Did some digging and realized that somehow that got flagged by the filter, so I had to update my name. Somehow Swaggindragon (with a lowercase d) was fine, so I changed it to that. Fast forward to now when the filter has apparently been updated AGAIN and my username is blocked AGAIN. I would love an explanation to why 'Swaggindragon' would be blocked in any case. I looked up both 'swaggin' and 'dragon' and both together and there is not a single possibility of that being used in a profane or discriminatory way. I'm sure I would be told "sorry change your name"... but is there any way to get usernames removed from this insane filter?26Views0likes0Comments
