account unlinking and relinking

if i unlink my ea from my current steam account which i played fc25 and fc26 on (A) can i then link it to my other steam account (B) and buy the new fc27 on there and be fine?

my ea has been linked to my (A) steam account for atleast 2 years

  • Hi there,

Since your current Steam account has been linked to your EA Account for more than two years, you should be able to unlink it and link a different Steam account. If you would like instructions on how to do that, please see:  https://help.ea.com/en/articles/ea-account/unlink-ea-account & https://help.ea.com/en/articles/ea-account/ea-account-linking

That said, we don't recommend unlinking accounts unless it's really necessary. Unlinking can affect access to progress, purchases, rewards, and EA SPORTS FC Web/Companion App features, and some content may not transfer as expected.

If you're looking to make this change because you need to update or correct something on your account, I'd recommend contacting EA Help before unlinking anything. They can review your account and advise you on the safest option for your specific situation.

    I hope this helps.
