Cant unlink xbox account from EA account

A few years ago my Microsoft account was hacked and the email address was changed. i had a xbox account associated with this hacked account linked to my EA, i need to remove it and add my new xbox account.

Whenever i go to the account management tab and try to unlink the xbox nothing happens; I click the big unlink button next to the xbox account name and a disclaimer pops up and i check the box acknowledging all the risks and click continue and nothing happens - the account is still linked. I tried seeing if i could contact support but the link isn't working for me.

If anyone has a fix for this or tips on what i should do please help a brotha out!

    you can just put down any game and any platform as in the end, your issue regards the account and so those two don't matter. I'm aware that that's a bit confusing, but in the end, as long as you fill in the correct topic (regarding account deletion) you should be able to contact Support.

    EA_Pythia​ I am replying here because I can't open a new post. My apologies.

    Someone create this account, using my email address. I got a code to login sent to my mailbox and, when trying to see how that was done, I ended up having this account (fleming6999). I don't play EA games, I don't own any. So I can't open a case to request the EA account deletion, because it requires a game (which I don't have), and a "console" (which I don't own).

    Could you tell me how to go to delete this EA account, and anything associated with it?

    Hello CrouseSC​,

    EA accounts can only be linked to one platform account of its kind during its lifetime. If you cannot use the current Xbox account anymore, the only chance is to contact Support and explain your situation. They might be able to make an exception and link your new account, but there is no guarantee for that.
