Change Email Address for EA account

Just to confirm, is your Xbox account linked to the old EA account you're hoping to delete, or to a new one? 

Keep in mind progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. Because of that, if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress. 

That said, if you're just hoping to update the email address associated with the account to your new email, you can do so by getting in touch with our live support team. Once an advisor verifies your account ownership, they should be able to help update those details with you.

yes my ea account is currently assigned to an email address that has been deleted and can no longer be accessed which means I cannot two factor authenticate on FC27. 
I would like to delete that account and make a new one linked to my email address

Unfortunately, we can't make changes to accounts here on the forums.

It'd be best if you connect with our live support team for assistance instead of deleting your EA account, especially if your goal is to link your Xbox account to an EA account you can access. An advisor can help replace the inaccessible email address with one you can access, or help link that Xbox account over to your new account directly.

Deleting an EA account won't mean you'll be able to link your Xbox account to that new EA account, and it will remove your access to the games you've purchased so far, including FC 27 if you've purchased the game using the current EA account.
