EA account seemingly deleted?

I have had the same account through my email for 10 years (I really only use it to play the sims). When trying to log in with the same email and password today, I was told my password didn’t match or the credentials were expired, which is fine I figured I would just try resetting my password, only to be told they couldn’t find an account associated with that email. When I tried logging in through Gmail as it prompts on the log in page, it created a brand new account that has says I’ve only been a member since 2025. I’m really crushed by this, I’ve put a lot of time and money into getting all the things I’ve wanted for the game and now I can’t seem to access that at all. I even have the email receipts of different packs and things I’ve purchased, so there’s proof that this email has been used for an EA about. Genuinely really confused and upset, has this happened to anyone? Is there anyway for this to be fixed or are my games just gone forever?

    I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not sure what might be happening with you EA account as it's outside of the help we can offer through the Forums, but something stood out to me from what you shared - you mentioned purchases.

    Were these purchases made through the EA app or Origin? Do you have Transaction ID's for those purchases? Or Game Codes?

    I think it could be helpful to share those details with the support when you're next in touch with them. If the issue was locating the account, those details may help them track it down.
