EA splitting account

My younger brother and I currently use the same EA account setup. My Sims 4 profile (“Favour25”) has been active since 2015, and I have purchased over 17 packs on this account. My brother also uses the same account environment for his PlayStation (PSN: CoolZion_123), and we both currently access the same EA account system.

The account is currently linked to my mum’s email address, and over time she plans to give the account fully to my brother. This means I will eventually lose access to my Sims 4 packs and my “Favour25” progress if nothing is changed.

I would like to ask if there is any safe or official solution that would allow me to:

* secure my Sims 4 purchases permanently under my own EA account or email, or

* separate our access so that I do not lose my content in the future when the account ownership changes.

I understand that game entitlements are normally locked to accounts, but I am hoping there may be a way to resolve this fairly given the family situation and long-term account transfer

  • Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. I'm very sorry, but we're not able to split content off an account. The best I can advise is to have one of you create a new account and start over on it.
