I was able to circumvent this by launching a ticket using this new account and describing the situation to the live chat agent. I would suggest adding a way for banned members to be able to submit a ticket without appealing in case of this situation.
More information: I was able to log in to my EA account using my linked PlayStation account, but I was unable to change any substantial information without verifying my identity. However the verification email was set to the attackers unknown email, making this impossible. I realize this would then mean the appeal I made temporarily signed in to my account would just be directed to my attackers email correct? I've DM EAHelp via twitter, I'm very sure you guys will tell me to just wait for that but is there any other paths I can take incase this doesn't work? The official EA Help resources are unfortunately unhelpful as I need to have access to the attackers email to appeal a ban, and cannot submit a support case with a guest account for some reason.
