How can i get a redemption code for my child's account?

I am wondering how to get a Sims 4 redemption code for my daughter so she can download the game on her PC laptop.

I have tried contacting support, as is the solution given on this forum. This however just gives me an auto-closed support case, with a note to find the solution on the forum.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi MartinBKV​, 

    Since The Sims 4 is now a free-to-play game, you should be able to add it from the Store. If this option is not available to you, if you contact EA Help Support, they should be able to add the game to her account.     Seems EA has a different definition of solved than the rest of us!

    I have the same issue, but my support case is auto-closed with a note to go to the forum, where the "solution" is to contact support!
