I have created my own EA Account to allow me to use the family management settings. I created a child account for my two sons, but when creating a child account, it never asks for an email address for them. It only asks for the parent/guardian email for permission. When I want to add my sons to the family EA account, it only asks for email addresses, not EA ID's. How do I add the child accounts to the family account?

I'm trying to add my son's account to my family. I send him the invite, but for the life of me, I can't get him to be able to log into the website to accept it. There's no option on the app for it, either. I'm at my wits end trying to fight this system to make it work. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can a child account be linked to an adult account?
You can’t link a child's EA Account to an adult account.
If you have an adult EA Account, you can link your teen's account to yours and create a Family account.
In order to protect them, child accounts are very limited in what they're able to do. We have some more information in this article about parental controls. Hopefully that'll help to answer any more questions you have. 🙂
