I can't snap the ball Madden 25

I am looking to see if I can get some help.  I have lost the ability to snap the ball.  After I select a play, the screen comes up and it shows the route combinations and all player buttons but I cannot snap the ball.  I've tried to uninstall the game and re-install and that didn't work.  Game was working fine until the last update. Hoping to get some help because I can't play now.
