Have you tried using the EA Help site while in Incognito mode or signed out of your accounts? Sometimes one of those makes the chat option appear.
That didn't work for me. I clicked the link under "I want to delete my account" it took me to an article, then I clicked a link within to talk to a rep to delete the account and it goes straight back to the article.
You'd think a company hemorrhaging money from underperformed games would be concerned with keeping the few of us idiots still stupid enough to deal with them as paying customers. Instead they're alienating old customers and disappointing potentially new ones with disappointing games. I'll take a cushy corporate job if you guys want to start actually making money again and I'll start by retraining your entire customer service staff to understand that you don't ever tell a customer that the problem is their fault so I don't have to solve it and getting somebody who knows how to design a working website to fix their broken support service so people can actually use it.
