Old Origin ID visible on profile

I spoke to an EA live chat person and they advised that I post on here to ask about this.
My old origin ID is still visible underneath my EA id on my profile on the EA App (EA ID is bold, my old account nickname is underneath it not in bold) 
Is this something that can be changed at all? I've checked all my settings with the help of an advisor and they have confirmed its something a user themselves can't change. I asked if there was any kind of email to contact anyone about this but was advised to do this post. 
Any help would be appreciated,

    Hey SpiritGem16​, 

    If you're referring to the nickname underneath your EA ID, you should be able to change it on the EA App by following these steps: 

    1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner
    2. Click 'My profile' 
    3. On the pop-up window, select the 'Edit Profile' button above the Games and Friends tabs
    4. Change your existing nickname to the one you want, and click 'Done'


    If the above didn't work, please try reinstalling the EA App from https://www.ea.com/ea-app before trying again.

    Thank you so much for this! We were trying so many different things for 20 minutes, I just had to log out before the "edit profile" button showed and I was able to change it. Thank you so much for your help and the fast response, I really appreciate it!
