[PC / Xbox Game Pass]A Way Out missing from EA App (Morocco Region Bug?)
I am experiencing a persistent, specific bug with A Way Out via Xbox Game Pass on PC. While other EA Play titles included with Game Pass (like It Takes Two) work perfectly, A Way Out is broken for me and many other players in Morocco.
- When I search for "A Way Out" in the EA App, the game does not appear in results.
- When I click "Install" on the game in the Xbox App, the app simply minimizes and fails to launch the EA App setup.
- This appears to be a regional entitlement issue. Other players in Morocco have reported this exact problem for over a year.
I spent over two hours on live chat with advisors (Arun, Manjeet, Ajrun, Wilson, and Atul). We exhausted the following steps with no success:
- Reinstalled both the Xbox and EA Apps.
- Set EABackgroundService to Automatic and restarted it via services.msc.
- Logged out of both apps, restarted PC, logged into Xbox first, then EA as Administrator.
- Disabled/re-enabled the EA App extension in the Xbox App settings.
If anyone from Morocco was having the same issue and found a workaround please let me know!!. I'm also hoping a dev might see this and check why the Game Pass license for this game is bugged here.
