Sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting everything connected. From the error message you've mentioned, it sounds like there may be multiple accounts in use here.
You should be able to check this account page to see your connected accounts and double-check which other platforms are connected to the current EA account.
The steps on this page would typically help you update your account details, but if you don't recall or no longer have access to another email itself it'd be best to just scroll to the bottom for the Contact us option.
