Reset Code

I’ve been trying to reset my password to my original EA account with no avail. The email used is an old yahoo one & for some reason no emails are coming through. I’ve contacted yahoo support & they were no help whatsoever, I’ve contacted EA support & they say the same thing every time, that I have to reset my password to reinstate my account or just make a whole new EA account which I didn’t want to do because I purchased a digital game through my original EA account. I feel like it’s ridiculous that they disable your account after a time of no use, I’ve never heard of that. I have access to my yahoo email but the reset code email won’t go through, it never shows up on my account. Wish you can add a separate email that does let emails go through. Anyone else have this problem? I just want my old account back.

Hi there. Make sure you check any spam/junk folders to see if it ended up there. If you still can't find it, you'll need to contact an advisor again. We can't help with account related issues over the EA Forums, unfortunately. Cases can be opened here.

I contacted yahoo support about no emails coming through & they are literally no help at all, they asked for the email of the sender & I keep telling them it’s EA.com, is there a specific email they use to send reset codes with?

Try opening a case without signing in. An advisor should be able to get your email updated. I know when I used to use Yahoo, verification emails didn't always come through.

That’s what I’ve been trying, I asked if they can just change the email since yahoo isn’t letting anything go through & the advisors said that they can’t do that with an inactive account but there’s no other way that I can reactivate it if I can’t get the verification code.

I'm sorry to say, we're not able to make any changes to accounts over the EA Forums. Only an advisor can do that. If they're saying it's not possible, the account will not be able to be reactivated, unfortunately.

Was your account inactive when you were trying to receive verification codes?
