So I made a purchase on EA's site. I used a credit card that I haven't use in over 6 months ($0 balance ). When i get my statement there are more than $400 in Door Dash & Uber Eats charges all in CA. I live in OH. So I guess the$4.99 game purchase was not a good deal!
Community ManagerHey scottc731973it is highly unlikely that your card was compromised through the EA site, our security for ards and the like is secure. What may have happened is that you have spyware on your device so the first thing to do is speak with your card issuer and to also ensure your device security.
Best of luck with it, have gone through it myself and hard to fight the bank for 8k worth of Turkish iTunes cards.

Hi Darko. So if I have spyware on my pc why have no other credit cards that I have used been stolen and used? Just saying.
Community ManagerI was just making a suggestion as to the most likely scenario scottc731973. I have not seen other reports of this which likely points to an issue on the user side and not a case of the card being skimmed EA side as card details are encrypted here.
Did you speak with your card issuer about the situation?
