There was an outage in the email update tool.

I contacted support asking to unlink an email address I couldn't access. I provided all the account details they asked for, but the tool crashed and they asked me to contact them later. After that, I contacted support again, and the tool crashed again. The support representative gave me a link to this forum and told me to post everything here, saying they'd help me. Case number: 240973034, EA ID: thecrewinside

    I'm sorry you were asked to come to the EA Forums with this. I'm afraid we won't be able to help with your support cases. We do our best to offer helpful advice where we can, but we aren't able to make changes to an EA account through the EA Forums, which sounds like what you need. The Support team are uniquley set up to help with those cases. 

    I'm sorry about that. You will need to stick with the support team for help updating the email on file and recovering access to the EA account.
