Trying to link my new Epic Games account to play Battlefront 2, but being denied
I recently unlinked my old Epic Games account because I lost access to it. I then repurchased Battlefront II on my new Epic Games account.
However, when I try to play, I receive the following error: "Your accounts can’t be linked because the EA Account for [my email] was previously linked to the Epic Games account for [old Epic Games account]."
Even though I've unlinked the Epic Games account from my EA account, this issue persists. I'd appreciate your help in resolving this so I can link my EA account to my new Epic Games account and access the game.
Thank you,

Hey there,
When you link accounts, it creates a lifetime link to protect you from malicious activity and help prevent performance issues in your games.
You can unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account if you want to link them to a different EA Account, as long as that EA Account has never had the same account type linked to it before in its lifetime.
That means if you unlink an Epic Games Account from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Epic Games Account to it in the future. So you will need to create a new EA Account to link your new Epic Games Account.
I hope this helps.
