Unable to unlink Steam account – linked to unknown/hacked EA account

    Hey iangauler​, 

    Glad to hear you were able to recover access to your Steam account! Hopefully, you've also had the chance to follow Steam's recommended security steps, along with those by your email provider and any other platform accounts associated with that Steam account. 

    To have your Steam account unlinked from that foreign EA account, you'll need to connect with our live support team for assistance. An advisor will need to verify your account ownership before proceeding, but should be able to work with you from there.

i know everything of my account, but i can't unlink the unknown steam from my ea account.

I tried to contact the "advisor", but my case number is doesn't exist or i dont know, because i can't connect with a human, who can unlink this from my account.

Please, just add a function, where can we talk with someone, who has permisson to unlink.

      yeah, i tried many different ways. In the app i get "someting went wrong", and in the web browser if i click the unlink and check the 4 things, nothing happen and the steam is still linked to my profile.
      I tried a lot of time connecting to the live support, but i think it doesnt exist. Every time when I create a ticket, i got a message after i click to the live chat:  "An advisor will email you soon Your case number is #854925532" . But this case actually doesnt exist. I can't search it or find it, it is not linked to my profile. And the email never arrives.

        kalydivagyokcs​ Appreciate the additional info! 

        Live support most certainly exists, but I can see how the difficulty in connecting with them so far can lead to that impression. 

        Can you try using a different browser and an incognito or private window? It might also be worth testing with a different internet connection or mobile hotspot to see if anything changes. 

        Are you seeing the option to chat with an advisor at all? If not, try selecting a different topic as your issue, such as 'View my EA account.' 

        If you've been using the web form so far, you could also try using the Contact us button at the bottom of this page. After you provide the information requested by the NextStep bot (one-word answers will suffice), it should redirect you to live chat.
