Why

I am having the same problem, it had said that I would be able to relink my account. I bought BF6 and it told me due to inactivity you have to reset your password so I did but it still wouldnt let me play. I tried turning it off and on, refreshing etc. I went to my EA account and it said that I will be able to re-connect it with my same account after unlinking it but it is not letting me.  Now every single time I keep trying re-link it to the same account it keeps saying that it was previously linked to that account so it cannot be linked. I bought a 70$ game to play with some friends and I cant even play it Please help
