A way out - Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL: [XINPUT1_3.dll]

Hello everyone,

I just bought "A Way Out" via Steam. When I launch the game, I get the following error:

Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL: [XINPUT1_3.dll] Error: 0xC1.

I am on a fresh installation of Windows 11, on recent hardware, completely up-to-date via Windows Update. Here is a chronological list of things that I tried, each leading to the exact same error code:

• Even though it is not the exact same error code, I tried this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/EA-Originals-Games/when-i-open-a-way-out-from-steam/m-p/13574262
• I checked for drivers updates on official hardware manufacturers' websites and installed them.
• I repaired VC on my redisc.
• I download Xinput1 and replace in my core system 64 and 32.

No solutions so far.
