A Way Out - No Invite options for PC

Installed A Way Out on PC using EA Play through Steam. The game launches to play online screen. Give me the option to Invite by pressing F. Nothing appears when I press F. The only thing that happens is I can no longer click anything else, unless I push Esc on my keyboard. Once I press Esc, the option to Cancel highlights again. So something is being triggered when I press F, but I cannot see it. Any ideas?

Things I have done so far:

Reboots after install

installed EA Play app and tried to launch game that way

have launched steam and EA Play App in Admin mode.

put the game in windowed mode to see if a invite window was popping up somewhere else.

Is this game no more?
