It takes two only one ps4 controller working

Hi, I have downloaded It takes two via ea app on my pc thinking I can play local with my boyfriend using two ps4 controllers but only one controller is connecting as player 1 and player 2 is keyboard. We have tried connecting the controllers to pc using cable but that does not work either. We tried playing other games and it worked just fine. Can you please help us
