"A way out": unable to connect to friend and play online

Hi,  Me and my partner are trying to play "A way out" via origin. I have the game and he has the friendspass, but we keep getting thrown out of the session as soon as I have invited him. We have had...

    Hi @wroombat 

    Can one or both of you try putting your system in a Clean Boot then try to play? If the issue continues could I get a DxDiag from both devices?

We  both have the recommended requirements to run the game.
