Bug It Takes Two Chapter 3 Deeply Rooted infinite loading

Hi everyone.
I am experiencing a bug in Chapter 3 in the Deeply Rooted section while riding the flying fish.
Steps to reproduce:
1 Ride the flying fish.
2 Reach the part where you have to jump into the pit.
3 Jump into the pit.

Current result: 
The game freezes and the next level never loads. It stays in an infinite loading screen.

Does anyone know a fix or a workaround for this?
