Split Fiction Crashing Issue "fatal error" on Steam (friend's pass)
hope you're doing well. I am experiencing an issue with Split Fiction on Steam and would appreciate your assistance. Issue Details: Platform: Steam (PC) Error Message : fatal error Recent Hardware Change: Today, I upgraded my RAM. I previously had 12GB (3 sticks, all double-sided), and I added a 4GB single-sided stick. Could this mismatch be causing instability in the game? Description of the Problem: The game used to crash at the same spot consistently showing the fatal error thing. I used to check my task manager and I see my ram is almost 100% but this time after adding the ram I tried so many times only once my cpu was a bit almost 100% but with the other tries task manager info were fine. However today, I was able to skip that section, but after playing for another minute, it crashed again. Additionally, when I click "Play," Steam notifies me that I should update my GPU drivers. My GPU is outdated (version 475), while your recommended version is 536. However, I have previously played demanding games like Sekiro, Elden Ring, and Assassin’s Creed without any issues despite requiring updated drivers. Unfortunately, upgrading my GPU is not an option due to financial constraints. I would appreciate any advice on possible fixes or optimizations to improve stability. I ALSOOOO lowered my settings from the beginning System Specifications: CPU: Intel i7-3770 GPU: GTX 670 (Driver version 475) RAM: 16GB total (12GB double-sided + new 4GB single-sided) OS: 10 Please let me know if there are any workarounds or settings I can adjust to resolve this issue. Pleaseeeee i want to play the gameeee. Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards, <33227Views0likes6CommentsPS5 fully crashes after 10 Minutes playing Split Fiction
Good Morning ! I've been trying to enjoy the new game with my friend for the last few days, but there is no way to play it more than 10 minutes in a row without the PS5 fully crashing forcing me to do a manual reboot and rebuild the database before i can relaunch the game for 10 more minutes of playtime. We have both bought the full version of the game, and both of us are playing on PS5. I have already tried deleting the game and DL'ed it again. and went through all the possible repairs in the PS5 safe mode (cache delete, rebuild, etc) It's the only game where this happens, whether online or single player (I've tried various others for long periods of time to discard hardware issue or overheating from the console), and the first time I get a crash where the console just turns off without any error message. Please help, we can't wait to get back in the adventure ! Thanks a lot !1.6KViews4likes45CommentsResult code: “108-0” is displayed and online play is not possible.
I'm using a translation site, so some expressions may be incorrect. I have been trying to play Split Fiction online with a friend for a few days now, but I get a “Result code: 108-0” and cannot invite her to the online room. My friend and I both use Playstation5 as our platform. We have tried restarting the console, reinstalling the game software, changing the wifi connection, and checking for software updates and updates, but nothing has improved. Is it possible to fix this? Please help;;35Views0likes0CommentsSplit Fiction crashing Xbox X every 5 minutes - ruining our fun.
I pre-ordered Split Fiction because It Takes Two is one of my 9 yr old son's favorite games. We've played it multiple times together in local co-op. It's been massively disappointing to both of us that Split Fiction can't stay up for more than 5 minutes on our Xbox series X in local co-op without crashing. We are on 1.4.0 About 5 minutes into gameplay, the xbox completely powers off taking the entire AV system down with it (Denon AVR-X3800H & LG CX). So far we've been able to make it about 10 minutes into the first level. Originally the game crashed every time we reached the first hatch door that explodes, but recently we've been able to get as far as the first barge ship taking off. Either way it always crashes to power-off. No error codes or messages that I can find. I've tried power-cycling every component on the system, fully uninstalling/reinstalling the game multiple times including deleting cache and saved files each time. I've checked for firmware updates on every device and accessory connected to the xbox. Nothing helps. Every few days my son excitedly asks me if the game will work, and everytime we try, it doesn't.67Views1like4CommentsOur Saved Progress is missing (PS5 Split Fiction)
We've logged in to play split fiction and are being prompted tO start again . We've played before , the saved data is still in the storage of the console. Tried restarting , but the data and the game don't seem to link. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful53Views1like3CommentsBUG: Burger sign prevents progress
If one character manages to reach the top of the Burger Sign before the other then the player cannot go back, and the other cannot progress i was playing as MIO and ran past quickly, and when my friend tried to climb the ladder they died half way. i also could not pass the mid point can easily be redone by returning to last checkpoint, but still a bug so9Views0likes1Comment
