[BUG] Respawned under the Elevator bug

I am currently enjoying the game on PC (Windows 11) I've made it to the elevator. after going up two floors I died and respawned at the bottom of the elevator. However it will not come down so i can start it again.

    Hey, 

    Updating this thread as ToK: Zau has had its first Patch 1.1 drop today.

    • Please note, this patch is currently only live on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and will be coming to Nintendo Switch at a later date.

    I wanted after you grab the update reload your game and save to see if the issue reported here has continued.

    @EA_Illium Hello. Is there any update on this issue? I’d like to get back to playing the game. Surely adding a button to recall the elevator is the way around it?

    @Robschach Hi. i shared my save file with them so that they may be able to figure this out in the future. I know for me it was about an hour and a half in. So i had to start a new game and when i got to the elevator I turned the difficulty down just to ensure i made it to the top. Crappy work around i know but thats how i did it.

    Same problem here on PS5. 

    This is a game-breaking bug. It's plastered all over Steam's forums with no solution, as well. The fact that it's been almost a month is very discouraging.
