Camera is too close, too squirrely

Title.

The camera as it is right now is far too close to the characters, and the way it moves so rapidly without being able to fix it to LEFT, RIGHT, or DIRECTLY BEHIND the character is really disorienting.

It's making the game VERY hard to play and enjoy, especially coming over from Monster Hunter where there's a lot more camera stability as well as zoom options.

  • Noticed it too. Most of the time it is fine, but sometimes the camera decides to hide behind my back making it harder to see monster attacks.

Would appreciate a fixed camera position i can control. Like in all other Monster-Hunter-Like Games.

I feel like they should make a Suggestions thread. The camera is a big one, another is on PC it would be nice if you could choose your button layout like you can on MH:Rise (ABXY, BAYX, PS layout), . I think it would be cool to have the silhouette feature like MH:Worlds and Rise both do. The 2nd bolster for Haya Bow where you have the rain of arrow, I would love to be able to aim it THEN fire instead of it firing right away. Mouse side buttons cannot be bound by default which is kind of weird for todays games.  Toggle sprint should be a menu option instead of a binding, if you use toggle sprint then you cant use it to mount the vines or anything like that. A built in FPS display would be nice so you don't have to run any overlays to have it display.
