Cannot get 'free trial' friend's pass

Which mode has this happened in? Online Co-Op
Which character were you controlling?
Summarize your bug Friend who purchased game sends me an invitation. I receive the message "You are unable to join your friends game because you do not own A Way Out. You can view it in the store and purchase it if you like to play with them." There is no option for a 'free trial', or a 'play with friend pass'.

    Nah, the button wasn't there on the store page.

    It's there now though. I'm guessing the release time on Origin and the actual release time for the friend's pass didn't match up.

    Everything seems to be working as expected now.

    My friend bought the game and when he tries to invite me it says unable to join game and I can't find the option "Play with Friend Pass".


    Can someone with a better understanding help me out on this one? I don't usually use Origin so I'm not sure.

    I have the game as well but I cant invite my friend to play with me , its really annoying as today is my free day.

    Maybe the feature does not activate until the actual release? 🙂

    at least they can let the other friend download the free pass so they don't have to waste more time when the game releases .

    he gets redirected to the store page of the game, the download with friends pass should be on the store page, my friend overlooked it at first too.
