Cannot play through The Attic - Turn Up online (Xbox)

My friend and I are playing It Takes Two on the Xbox platform. He owns an Xbox Series S and I play through XCloud on PC.

Whenever we try to load up The Attic > Turn Up, I get disconnected. I cannot test doing it locally as I'm doing it through XCloud, and my friend obviously would prefer to not have to do the entire thing by himself locally.

We know it's this level that causes it because skipping the cut-scene would immediately arrive to the error, while not going to the objective & triggering the cut-scene would allow us to remain connected until we do so. Now that we have the level checkpoint, it's an instant disconnect.

Regardless of the outcome, this might be something that needs addressed and fixed - whether that may be an xcloud issue or something else; I don't know and cannot investigate.

EDIT: I do want to add that the servers are working fine, and is only this level causing issues. We had a few other issues that seemed resolved by changing the host, but this one instantly disconnects with either of us creating the game session.
