I have the game on PC via the EA desktop app and have an active PlayPro subscription however the game will only launch in its trial state. So far I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling several times, the App Recovery in the desktop app, and have tried using the Upgrade edition (Free with your membership) button in the game's info page. When launching from the 'wild hearts.exe' rather than the 'wild hearts_trial.exe' in the game's directory I receive an error that states I don't have access.

I am having the "You don't have access" error.
The game shows in my collection but has the EA play across the top and does not show it connected to Steam.
My account is linked properly and I have went through all the proper steps. Clearing the cache... restarting... etc.
I've attached screenshots.
I tweeted for help 12 hours ago on twitter with no response.
Please help.
If there is a patch coming out, that's fine. Just some answers would be nice. Communication is key.
Thanks in advance.

As well as Steam's cache, can you try clearing the EA app cache too.

Also you may have tried this already, but be sure to reinstall if you havent done so already.- 3 years ago
Dave,
i think there is still some confustion. I have yet to be able to play the game. It was purchased throught steam for me as a gift for my birthday.
I installed (steam) and when I click play the EA App opens and I get the "You don't have access" error message.
The EA App recognizes it on my PC.
I'm just trying to figure out what to do.
Thanks in advance

hey dude, you need to actually uninstall the game and then do a restart and manually delete any registry entries and game files left behind, because you started with the trial edition, and that information is saved to your machine, sometimes the full install doesn't overwrite the flags, so u must make sure no game files or registry entries are still on your machine, or this game like alot of ea trials, will think you only have access to the trial. hope this helps.

@Guznagerrethhow can i delete it from Registry Entires
- 3 years ago@SultabMN basically you just open up regedit, make sure the very top item is selected and search for wild hearts, delete any entries with wild hearts in it

@Guznagerreth Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the issue for me. After each uninstall there are no registry files left behind yet the problem persists after every uninstall/reinstall.
