As well as Steam's cache, can you try clearing the EA app cache too.

Also you may have tried this already, but be sure to reinstall if you havent done so already.
Dave,
i think there is still some confustion. I have yet to be able to play the game. It was purchased throught steam for me as a gift for my birthday.
I installed (steam) and when I click play the EA App opens and I get the "You don't have access" error message.
The EA App recognizes it on my PC.
I'm just trying to figure out what to do.
Thanks in advance

@dragonrossx3 Thanks. We're looking into this on our end, can you run the EA app error reporter and drop the Report ID in the thread: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/ea/ea-app/run-ea-error-report/- 3 years ago
I will most certainly will but It will be a few hours before I can.
I was actually just thinking about refunding the game in steam then repurchasing it EA app.
Thoughts?

It's definitely worth a shot, please let us know either way if this works.
Also @BrvLttlTstr could you also generate a report and post the number here?
Thanks.
