PS5 fully crashes after 10 Minutes playing Split Fiction

Croustitastic Wanted to follow up on this crashing issue.

Is this happening in a specific location or level? Does it happen during a certain action, fight, etc or is this just - we play and within 10 min or so it crashes?

Does it crash both of you or just one of you?

Does it matter who sends the invite and it crashes regardless?

No specific location or level, 10-15 minutes of playing and then full crash, no matter if it's a cut scene or in action.

It only crashes me.

We've tried both ways and no matter who invites who, the result is the same.

I recall some Helldivers players having a similar issue just after launch, which was solved by a patch.

Croustitastic Thanks for the info. You said you deleted the game, but I will ask you to do it once again with the following steps. I took a look on my end and there arent any open issues. Not to say others arent running into the same issue just nothing active.

Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
Restore Licence

If you can, once you re-download the game, test it again with you sending the invite and they send the invite.

Also, test it on a wifi connection and a hardwire connection if you can do both.

If you have the option on a mobile device, change the connection to a hotspot and connect your PS5 to a hotspot and see if you get the same crashing.

I just started the game today. Playing on PS5 disc version and it crashed my console all the way off after about 1 hour. We had just gotten to the desert level and it fully shutdown.

I am also experiencing this error code whenever I'm trying to even launch an online session. Both of us are on PS5 and one is using the friend pass.

I have the same problem on PS5. My wife and I are playing couch co-op and after a random amount of time the entire PS5 crashes with a black screen. The problem is only with SplitFiction, no other title has this or similar issues.

So, I am seeing a few more players who crash while playing within a good 15-20(ish) minutes give or take. Most appear to be on PlayStation! I reached out to the team but there are no current open issues with the game crashing on PS5. 

Can you please run through the following, test these out, and let me know if they work for you?

• Manage your downloadable content (DLC) on PlayStation
• Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
• Verify you signed into your PSN account
• Check for updates
• Restore Licence
• Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
• Open your PS5 NAT Type
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4) 
• Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database.

If they do not, we need the following from you!

• EA ID/Steam ID
• Platform
• Which console generation do you have? 
• What is your Gamertag/PSN ID? 
• Date/time issue occurred?
• Summarize your bug:
• What type of issue do you have? Crash - Disconnect - kicked to main menu etc.
• Which mode has this happened in? Local or online
• Do you own the base game or on Friends Pass?
• Is this during a specific mission or during a cut-scene

I have the same issue with disc version. After 1 hour my ps5 is turning off completely, I can’t turn on my ps5… I have to disconnect power cable and then restore my ps5. 
It’s happened on random lvl 

yen2d Have you reinstalled the game? When it happens are you playing local or online?

I reinstalled the game.
Local mode.
