PS5 fully crashes after 10 Minutes playing Split Fiction

Good Morning !

I've been trying to enjoy the new game with my friend for the last few days, but there is no way to play it more than 10 minutes in a row without the PS5 fully crashing forcing me to do a manual reboot and rebuild the database before i can relaunch the game for 10 more minutes of playtime.

We have both bought the full version of the game, and both of us are playing on PS5.

I have already tried deleting the game and DL'ed it again. and went through all the possible repairs in the PS5 safe mode (cache delete, rebuild, etc)

It's the only game where this happens, whether online or single player (I've tried various others for long periods of time to discard hardware issue or overheating from the console), and the first time I get a crash where the console just turns off without any error message.

Please help, we can't wait to get back in the adventure !

    Croustitastic Wanted to follow up on this crashing issue.

    Is this happening in a specific location or level? Does it happen during a certain action, fight, etc or is this just - we play and within 10 min or so it crashes?

    Does it crash both of you or just one of you?

    Does it matter who sends the invite and it crashes regardless?

    No specific location or level, 10-15 minutes of playing and then full crash, no matter if it's a cut scene or in action.

    It only crashes me.

    We've tried both ways and no matter who invites who, the result is the same.

    I recall some Helldivers players having a similar issue just after launch, which was solved by a patch.

    Croustitastic Thanks for the info. You said you deleted the game, but I will ask you to do it once again with the following steps. I took a look on my end and there arent any open issues. Not to say others arent running into the same issue just nothing active.

    Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
    Restore Licence

    If you can, once you re-download the game, test it again with you sending the invite and they send the invite.

    Also, test it on a wifi connection and a hardwire connection if you can do both.

    If you have the option on a mobile device, change the connection to a hotspot and connect your PS5 to a hotspot and see if you get the same crashing.
