Certain sounds completly stop!
I was just fighting the beaver looking Kemono and randomly, certain sounds randomly stopped being heard! No sound effect on my or the Kemono attacks! Delayed sound on the Karakuri! Others have had t...
+1 Same problem here (missing audio an sped up dialog).
Had this happen now multiple times. If I return to Minato the sound works like normal, but if I leave to the hunting grounds the bug still persists. I have to restart the game to get it back to normal.
Edit: This streamer has a video of it happening: Wild Heart Audio Bug/Dialogue Bug
@DrF33lGo0d Thanks for the clip.
As noted, it certainly doesn't seem like it's a settings issue. Could affected folks attach their Dxdiag info so we can check your sound setup?
Also, updating audio drivers doesn't come up super often around game launches, so is often forgotten. If you haven't done so already, can you update your audio drivers and see if it helps?
Edit: also, can i check if this was experienced when playing Solo or Multiplayer?
I checked for newer drivers but it seems that they are already up to date.
So when encountering the Wild boar boss, I had no combat audio and other audio was delayed ( fix what to return to main menu).
Adding my issues to the pile. Same issues showing up within usually 15 minutes of game start. First, its usually just a few sounds straight up stop playing, then the music gets overwhelmingly loud and seems to be the only thing playing, then any and all menu actions will be delayed by 4-5 seconds or more, then dialog gets sped up and will auto skip regardless of inputs, as well as all the dialog will overlap on top of each other. Finally, quite literally, all sound vanishes.
This is a pretty horrendous issue, but unfortunately this is seemingly par for the course for Koei Tecmo PC games. Some QA could have gone a long way into improving this launch.
Edit: I've played exclusively in multiplayer with a friend, so for myself it's been all in MP.

You cannot be serious asking people to upgrade their sound drivers. When was the last time this recommendation has solved a problem in this forum?
Besides being plain offensive, its also a potentially dangerous recommendation to make. Soundcards do not need updates like that anymore. People who dont know what they are doing could do all kinds of weird things to their setup since all the resources online are super inaccurate, malicious or clickbaity. Worst scenario, someone does some weird bios update nonsense to their board, best, someone just does a benign firmware update.
really, you guys might want to take a second and THINK what possibkle implications are when people actually FOLLOW THE ADVICE YOU GIVE.
If you need to increase your postcount please be at least just benign and not potentially harmful.
