Console Performance worse since the last Update on Xbox Series X

I'm always playing wild Hearts with my girlfriend and after the last update we hopped on and played again for a few days and her performance as well as mine seems more stuttery and frame dropping then it was before it's fairly obvious and it's getting to the point where the game isn't fun. Obviously the performance wasn't perfect in the beginning of the game but with every update it seemed to get a little more stable and fluid but since the last update on Xbox series x it's like all of this has been undone and I don't know what's causing it but I'm very susceptible to this changes in frame rate or stuttering and I will notice something is off. All the fights are more stuttery than before and especially the new fight seems to overload the graphical capabilities of the game with all these particles and the facts because the game slows really down when you fight against the new pink Fox Murakumo. We both have over 120 hours in the game so we weren't that picky about the performance issues before but now it's quite literally just too bad and that in performance Mode. It reminds me of a CPU bottleneck on PC but I would be surprised if that's the case here. 

Anyone experiencing the same or am I just stupid?
