Hello @criss-vaughn,
First off, let me start by saying welcome to EA’s “Answer HQ”.

Pls see this topic:
Hi and thank you for getting back to me.
Yeah, I checked those threads, but all solutions lead to an interaction with Steam.
However, I do not have the Steam version.
I am an EA Play Pro only user and whatever I have tried, it hasn't helped.
thanks, any help highly appreciated

I have the same Issue.
After first Loading Screen the Picture stays black and crashes.
Using the EA Play Pro Version.
Yeah, I mean I get it: New franchise, lots of players, lots of issues + PC and consoles - it is quite a workload.
But: I do pay for EA Play Pro and I do not really regret it, cause I like a lot of games.
So I think: Heck yeah, early access, cool, let's start (February 13th).
Then: I read all these posts about the issue(s), but it's only related to the cross connection w/ Steam.
So w/o ranting or bashing or anything else: It's just disappointing to pay all this money and not being able to access the game at all.
Also, w/o having the slightest glimpse, just that senseless hint.
For what it's worth, I finally found a solution myself:
- the game .exe was set to "run as administrator" (I don't know why / how)
- as soon as I removed that, the error was gone, but the game still didn't open (just a short "blink")
- killing the RTSS / MSI Afterburner and hwinfo did the trick, game loading up
hope that helps somebody
- SorryMyHoney3 years agoSeasoned Newcomer@criss-vaughn hmm interesting, I shall tell my friend about it. how did it end up having "run as admin" enable by default...
- @criss-vaughn I'm having a similar problem but the error for me just says that wild hearts is already running. The files have both the full game executable and the trial executable in them and idk if that is normal or not so maybe that is causing something. It's not like I can delete either of them without the game needing repaired anyway so I'm not sure what to do

When I press the play icon in the EA app, I see a short loading spinner and then the EA app goes into the foreground and nothing happens.
No error message, nothing.
My specs:
Ryzen 5900x
RTX 4090
32 GB RAM
Got the game via EA Play Pro. - INC_N3XUS3 years agoRising Rookie
Things I tried so far from other threads:
- run the game as admin
- Don't run the game as admin
- disable full screen optimization
- clear cache of EA Launcher
- validate the game via EA Launcher
- redownload the game via EA Launcher
- change the drive the game is installed on
- make sure win11 is up to date
- update GPU driver
- install GPU driver fresh via DDU- check windows for errors
- check harddrive for errors ()
- check RAM for errors (nothnothing found)
- run GPU benchmarks (results are in line with similar cards)
- disable Onedrive
- disable all overlays including EA Launcher overlay, MSI afterburner
- deactivating all other launchers and apps
- restarting the PC several times in the process
What else can I do?
