EA Play Pro only - Your game failed to launch

Hi guys,

I am a EA Play Pro only User and do get the "your game failed to launch" error all the time.

What I did:

- re-installed game

- cleared cache

- re-installed drivers

- closed Steam

Have been using the EA App since several months, games like Dead Space work just fine.

    Edit (as some mods mentioned it):

    - tried Sfc scannow /DISM  (no issues)

    - tried resetting my password

    - tried reinstalling EA Play launcher

    I wanted to jump in and ask if we could get the following information from anyone who might still be running into this issue?

    Platform:

    PSN ID/Xbox GT:

    Region:

    Are you getting an error message?

    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?

    Is anything else happening?

    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

    If on PC, please share a DxDiag

    Platform: PC Win11 EA -App launcher
    Region: Europe
    Are you getting an error message?: No
    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?: 2023-02-16 yes it's still happening
    Is anything else happening?: Everything else just works fine
    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip: I don't have recording software but when I click play I see a loading spinner for 3 sec and then the EA-App goes back into the foreground and nothing else happens.

    If on PC, please share a DxDiag

    Platform: PC EA Play Pro - Win10 Pro 64bit - Version 22H2 (Build 19045.2604)

    PSN ID/Xbox GT: -

    Region: DE

    Are you getting an error message? See attachment for eventvwr data

    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Since Ea Play Pro Early Access and still happening

    Is anything else happening? Other Games run fine

    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... -> See attachement

    Thanks for taking the time to provide this information. We have shared everything so far with the team. 

    I wanted to check if it would be possible to get an EA Error Report ID as well. Please either update your post or reply to this one with the ID (will be a long string you can copy) and I can pass these on.

    Is anything else happening? The EA app will close, behave like there is a game laoding, and then reopen the ea app. However, wildhearts does not work

    Any news on this?

    Edit: After the Update the Game works for me!!! Finally.. Hopefully it's fixed for the others, too.

    Hi @20Andy11 , can you go to C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\KoeiTecmo\WILD HEARTS folder after closing the game.

    Make a backup of it just in case, then go and delete the SYSTEMSAVEDDATA folder, and launch the game, hopefully it'll help.
