Bug : Continuation of side quest doesn't appear if my friend validate the previous one

  • Platform : PC 
  • PSN/Gamertag/Steam/EA Id. Steam : Achanga, Ea : AlcyoneDelirium
  • Teammates' ID : Steam : Taiki, 
  • Where in the gameworld did the issue occur? Minato
  • When did this happen? It's happen when a side quest is validate by my friend and when that quest have an another part. 
  • How often does the bug occur? It's happen to me 3 times and i still can't have my missing quest.
  • What happens when the bug occurs? I can't have the next quest, even if i return in my own session.
  • What should be happening instead? I should to have my quest
  • Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You need to be at 2 in a session, having both the same side quest who have part 1 and part 2 like the quest "lie or truth part 1" . Complete the quest and the session host validates it.

    • If you weren't fighting a Kemono, what were you doing when the issue occurred?: The issue occurred on the "prepare for amaterasu's return" quest. Both me and my friend got to it, then stopped playing. When we started playing again the quest was stuck and unable to be continued. 
    • How often does the bug occur? It's permanent.
    • What happens when the bug occurs? After getting to the quest "prepare for amaterasu's return" and leaving the game, we're now stuck at the point where you have to find 2 changing essence by defeating mighty kemono. But changing essence is not dropped, and it's permanently stuck at 0/2
    • What should be happening instead? defeating a mighty kemono should drop changing essence to continue the quest
    • Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Repro steps are as follow:

      - get to the "prepare for amaterasu's return" quest with a coop partner
      - disconnect/stop playing
      - start a new lobby and rejoin
      - observe the lack of changing essence after defeating a mighty kemono

    Hope this helps. We're stuck and would love to keep playing.
