Game Broken After Windows 11 22H2 Update

So I was playing Wild Hearts relatively flawlessly with the Steam version of the game. Today Windows finally made me update to 22H2 and I went from 100+ fps to 10-20 fps, this is even happening on loading screens and title screens. It's like the entire game is stuck on slow motion. I tested other games and Wild Hearts is the ONLY game effected. Cyberpunk, Monster Hunter Rise, Final Fantasy XIV, Witcher 3 all run identical to how they were prior to the update.

I know 22H2 had a performance problem with NVidia GPUs months ago but I'm on Driver 531.18, which is the newest driver which is long past the drivers that fixed that bug. I've tried manually telling Windows to play the game in high performance mode, made sure NVidia control panel is set to use my 3080, tried reinstalling the game, tried Windows compatibility mode, tried setting the EA app itself to high performance, tried turning Game Mode On/Off, disabled EA+Steam Overlay, there's not much else I can do on my end. The game appears to be using very little of my GPU+CPU when that was NOT the case prior to the Windows Update. I know I can roll back the update but like, a day will come where I have to install it so I can't just put it off forever because of Wild Hearts.

I've tried the following to resolve this:

    Reinstalled the game

Reinstalled the game on a different drive

    Reinstalled the EA App

Tried running both the EA app and Wild Hearts in admin mode

Tried running Wild Hearts with full screen optimization off, tried it in Windows 8 compatibility mode

    Ran CHKDSK on all drives.

    Cleared EA app cache

    Cleared Steam cache

    Updated Nvidia drivers

    Updated C+++ redistributables

Tried literally every combination of NVidia settings

Tried literally every combination of game settings

Turned off Steam, EA, and Nvidia overlays

Checked Windows 11 for errors (there were none)

Tried the game at different resolutions, tried changing the sound devices, tried using different monitors

10-20 fps persists no matter what I've tried and I keep getting those error messages so I'm at the mercy of a patch to resolve this issue. It's a problem specifically with the EXE and doesn't appear to be happening because of a driver. Because it's happening even during the KT logo and loading screens, it's not on the GPU end.

UPDATE: I gave up and roll back the 22H2 update and sure enough, game works flawlessly. All I can assume is there's some jank happening with Windows security and Denuvo or something. I'll just wait a while before I bother updating to 22H2 so I don't have to deal with this haha
