Game stuck on Finalizing installation.
Last Edit: I was refunded my monthly subscription and moving on from this abysmal experience.
I subscribed on EA Play Pro specifically to try this title, I downloaded it three times. Every time, at times for hours, the installation process, which starts immediately after the download is completed, stays stuck at 80% with the message:
"Finalizing
Wrapping up..."
Doesn't matter what I do, pause/restart, cancel and redownload or simply wait, nothing happens. There is no prompt hinting the game is installating, no other software (DirectX and whatnot), nothing. I tried doing complete reboots, starting EA's app in administrator mode before a fresh download. I tried changing installation drives, doesn't change a thing.
I am on Windows 11, using no VPNs, specs are:
RTX 4090
Ryzen 7800x3D
And tried installing on both the OS's dedicated 990 Pro drive from Samsung, and my dedicated games drive that also is on a 990 Pro drive from Samsung. At this point, I'm leaning towards a refund as your service is unreliable. In a moment of desperation, I tried to find an open source version of Origin (if that existed) hoping I'd find success but to no avail, it won't install. I also tried booting the game from the .exe but it can't complete the verification with EA's app.
I'm stuck with no solution.

Forgot to mention, I did try the repair function too, checked data and then put me back to that finalizing phase.
I also tried uninstalling EA Play altogether and reinstalling. Same result.
I tried installing a different game, no success there either.
So I don't know what kind of telemetry or services EA need so bad to stop me from installing games from EA App but I'm not putting up with this and I certainly am not re-installing Windows. How do I proceed to get that subscription refunded since I can't install any game? The only one I got installed is Jedi Survivor (which I own) installed a few weeks ago (during launch week), but for some reason now can't install anything else.

Can anyone download the update and confirm if this issue is still happening?
