The issue is with lost in random. Other origin games work fine.
It might be that i need to delete all the Lost in Random files.
cuz when you uninstall the game it probably still keeps some files on your PC.
At this rate i might just give up on it, had amazing experience but the hassle might not be worth it .
Thank you for all your help.
@JanisSG - I don't think deleting files is necessary, the game is trying to start and is being blocked by something. If you delete all the game files, you'll lose your progress. I'm very surprised that you can't start the game after doing a clean boot. That should eliminate most of the variables.
The log files lead me to believe you're playing the game from Steam. One simple thing that you could try is to completely exit both Origin and Steam. Make certain neither program is running. Log into Steam and launch Lost in Random. This should bring up the Origin window - log into Origin and then see if the game launches properly.
If that doesn't work, we might be able to help further if you're willing to try. Please reply with a copy of the InstallLog.txt file for LiR.
The default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Lost In Random\__Installer\InstallLog.txt
- 4 years ago@BlackjackWidow did find __Installer folder but there is no InstallLog.txt

@JanisSG - Where did you find the _Installer folder - \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lost In Random or \Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Lost In Random? Please check if there's an InstallLog.txt file in either of those places. If so, attach and let us know which spot it was.
If there is none, please verify files in Steam, then repair game in Origin by right-clicking LiR > choose Repair. Also, ensure that you have enabled View Hidden Files and Folders
If you start the game without the controller and press a keyboard key, does it start?
- 4 years ago@BlackjackWidow so my Origin game folder is empty.
I did verify game files already bunch of times (4 times on steam and 2 times on origin) - BlackjackWidow4 years agoHero (Retired)@JanisSG - did you try unplugging your controller before you start the game? When it asks you to press a button on the controller, click a mouse button.
And no worries that there are no files in the Origin folder, if it's installed under steam apps that's fine. - 4 years ago@BlackjackWidow Yes i did trt 4 different controllers and i did try mouse & kb

Try to ALT + F4 out of the start screen and tell us what happens.
- 4 years ago@holger1405 it just closes the game.

OK.
Run chkdsk on your game drive:
- Press the Windows key and "X" at the same time.
- Choose "command prompt (Administrator)" or "Power shell (Administrator)"
- At the prompt, copy and paste "chkdsk x: /f /r" (Without the quotes, change x to the drive letter of the drive Lost in Random is installed on.) > ENTER.
- Choose "Y" at the dialogue > Restart the machine.
- Here is a guide on how to find the Chkdsk log after you are back in Windows.
- 4 years ago@holger1405 quick update. Did try to install game from different account and it worked. So it is issue on steam or origin not the game files.

Ok, in this case you need to contact EA Support directly.
If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.
If you have trouble with the contact attempt look at this guide.
- 4 years ago@holger1405 did contact them already. Ty for all your help.
