issue with weapon rollback

The weapon crafting system in this game is fantastic, but there is one issue I found. I wanted to rollback my weapon only a few nodes, to adjust the choice of skill in one of the final nodes. The issue, however, is that it did not save my choices up until that point. The only way to make a late skill change is to rollback all thew way to the start and remake the weapon entirely, which I think should not be necessary in a system like this, unless you do wish to recreate it entirely.

I suggest allowing skill choice save states at each node, so that if you rollback three nodes, all of your choices up until that point are saved, but you can alter the choices of the last three nodes. I thought that was how the system was designed, but it turns out it is not. Instead, you have to roll it all the way back, pay the rollback cost, and then pay the full cost of the weapon again to get it back to where it was, which makes rollback pointless, as it is cheaper to just forge a new weapon from the start. This at least was how it worked for me on the PS5. I really don't think it should work that way, as it makes rollback meaningless.
