It takes two - Split screen lag issues and pirates ahoy octopus disconnect bug

On Pirates ahoy roses room chapter online co-op I have been having issues with the ship not being in the same place or even facing the same direction for each player which practically makes it impossible to beat since you both control one ship please let me know if there is any fix to this.
