Did you ever find a fix for this? We are 18 hours in (Two old fogies) and have hit the same invisible wall. We are unable to progress. Have tried multiple fixes; uninstall/reinstalls, validating files, deleting caches, lowering FPS, nothing works. It is very discouraging to think about starting a new game, especially if the same issue shows up. ☹️
Also, are you playing a purchased game, or through the friends pass??? I have the friends pass....
