It Takes Two Friend pass bug
I own a copy and I invite my friend through the friend pass but it gets an error code everytime does anyone know the reason for this

Are you account/game sharing with a friend? If so, try activating your own systems as primary and see if it works.
Do you happen to have an EA Play Pro subscription? It might be doing something strange with authentification
Happening for me too, can't fix it. Not account sharing, don't have subscription. Got the game from a code. Xbox store shows I own the game but inside the game it says I just have trial. Tried turning off home xbox and hard rebooting, no help. I'm connected to the internet
Actually my issue was I had the wrong version of the game, need the digital version

- @sirsimon77 I got the game with a code too. Then by mistake i installed the friend pass on the same concole and now i just have trial. Could you solved the problem?
