It Takes Two "Get the game" error during invite

Hi all

I am getting an error when receiving an invite to It Takes Two.  I get the invite, and can be in game, or in the EA App, and the invite doesn't ask me to join, it instead reads "Get the game"or 'Install  the game to join".

We used to play together no problem.  Now that I have EA play, it appears to not be working anymore.

Has anyone experienced this, or know of any fixes?

    @Jomerboy I ended up uninstalling everything, and downloading through EA directly.  The full game comes with It Takes Two in the EA Play subscription.  I assume there was an authorisation error caused by EA Play and Steam.  Hope that helps.

    Yes, the issue still exists. I have bought the full game, and my girlfriend has the friend's pass. The game suddenly stops after 1 hour and says: "thanks for playing the friends pass game, buy the full game". It seems like Steam doesn't recognize the purchased full game anymore. I do see the game in my steam library though...

    Friend's pass is broken i guess. i have the game and can launch the game. my friend installs the friend's pass but game doesn't launch. it stucks at the launching game screen forever. just to test if his pc has some kind of problem we switched the accounts. he installed the it takes two can launch no problem. this time i installed the friend's pass same thing happens. it stuck at the game launching screen.
